About Me

A curious Creative, Graphic and Architectural Designer who wears mostly

workout clothes.

 

When I am not doing yoga, swimming, running, or riding my bike,

you will find me working on creative projects!

As a kid I’ve always been naturally curious to create,

build, draw and design. Whenever I saw a pencil, I just had

the urge to grab it and start drawing! In school, I was always

creating designs on the back of my notebooks.

 

So, yes! Before I became a Graphic and Architectural Designer

I was first and foremost an artist.

When I started College, I wanted to study Architecture but  when I learned about Graphic Design, I decided to get my Degree in Graphic Design first.  Why?  Well, I love designing and creating art and when I knew I could do this digitally, I was curious and wanted to try!  Also, while I was in College, I was working in a restaurant as a server and I was really not happy there. I wanted to work on something I love doing ( Graphic Design) while I continue my career in Architecture.

 

I completed an inspiring Degree in Graphic Design in 2004. In 2006, I got my first job working in a screen print shop, then moved to a promotional print company. Here I developed my creative skills learning how to correctly prepare artwork for both digital and lithographic printing processes.

 

After gaining a few years of experience, in 2010 I decided to work on my own as a freelancer. Established in 2012, I  have been an independent Graphic Designer for Logo, Identity, Marketing  Collateral, Brand Development, Product Photography, Websites, and Print. 

 

I am also the founder of  VPG Design Studio, which is a boutique full service design studio for commercial, and lifestyle.

Hello! iAMHealthy&Fit and I am a sports enthusiast!

I love to swim, ride my bike, run and do yoga.

I also love triathlons but at the moment, I am just practicing yoga.

Yoga has helped me keep my back and body healthier, stronger and more

flexible…

 I have had two surgeries due to sport injuries:

 

1. I injured my left wrist while playing tennis in College.

I had a torn ligament and needed surgery. Then…

 

2. In 2014, I experienced my first ride to the ER in an ambulance.  I fell off my road bike. I had a concussion, a broken nose, and a broken elbow…

 

3.  Since then, I now have a titanium plate inside my left elbow.

 

4.   I rode  100+ miles a week  (on my mountain bike) with the goal to reach 8,750 miles. To make the story short, it took me in 1 year, 7 months to complete it. 

 

4.  I love to eat healthy food but I also like to eat Mexican candies…

 

5.  Things I can’t live without:

My computer, my phone, my earphones, my sweatshirt and

my Matcha Green Tea latte!
